To equip newcomer and racialized families with the knowledge, confidence, and cultural affirmation needed to navigate early childhood education systems, advocate for their children, and build strong relationships with educators and institutions.
“Starting Strong” Orientation Series
A 4-session (2 hours per session) workshop series introducing families to the Canadian childcare system, parenting rights, cultural expectations, and strategies for building partnerships with educators.
“My Child, My Culture” Family Circles
Facilitated peer groups where families explore how to preserve cultural identity while adapting to new systems. Includes storytelling, cultural exchange, and shared problem-solving.
Parent-Educator Dialogue Nights
Evening events where families and childcare providers engage in guided conversations about culture, communication, and inclusion.
“Navigating with Confidence” Coaching Pods
Small-group coaching for families needing extra support navigating childcare, subsidies, or conflict resolution.
